A position is not yet an available balance
Outcome shares, an expected payout and available funds are different records. Before resolution, a sale depends on buying interest; afterward, redemption follows the confirmed payout. A portfolio valuation alone is not the amount of a withdrawal that has actually completed.
Keep share quantity, received funds and amounts already sent in separate practice-ledger columns. A partial sale does not turn the remaining shares into a transferable balance. This makes it easier to identify which stage prompted the withdrawal question in the first place.
Recipient, destination asset and network
First specify destination network, token and final recipient. The returned bridge address is intermediate: pUSD from the Polymarket wallet on Polygon goes to its evm address. Other address families in the response do not change that source network. After conversion, the selected asset reaches the final recipient.
The bridge address is destination-specific and generated when ready. Receiving services must accept the exact token and network. Documentation allows direct pUSD withdrawal, but some exchanges reject pUSD. A familiar symbol alone proves no compatibility; article examples supply no usable payment details.
An estimate is not receipt confirmation
A preliminary quote contains an estimated result and expense components for the specified route and amount at the observation time. A platform-fee statement does not replace checking the full conversion, network conditions and requirements of the receiving asset or service.
An illustrative starting value of 50 and estimated receipt of 49.80 differ by 0.20 but establish no permanent tariff. Actual receipt must be checked against the destination balance on the correct network. Do not transfer units between different tokens without the relevant conversion calculation.
Check status and operation availability
An outgoing transaction hash establishes one record, not completion of the entire route. Reconcile destination, network, actual receipt and official status. For a delay, retain one consistent evidence set; sending again does not automatically correct the underlying reason for the missing confirmation.
Check geographic and account restrictions separately for withdrawal, sale and opening new positions. Do not bypass them. Clarify unclear permitted actions with official support.
