POLYMARKETSTARS EDITORIALRU / EN
The selected Polymarket contracts ask whether Bitcoin will be strictly above a stated threshold on October 21, 2026. The deciding observation is not the day's high or any touch of the level: it is the final Close of the Binance BTC/USDT one-minute candle closing at 12:00 noon ET.
Which thresholds are covered
This selection covers six contracts: above $72,000, $74,000, $76,000, $78,000, $80,000 and $82,000. They share the same price source and observation time; only the threshold differs. This selection is not presented as the full list of contracts in the event.
What produces Yes or No
For each threshold, Yes requires the specified candle's final Close to be strictly higher than that threshold. A price equal to or below the threshold produces No. Trading above the level earlier in the day does not by itself satisfy the condition.
The thresholds are not mutually exclusive outcomes. If the reference Close is strictly above $82,000, all six selected contracts satisfy their Yes condition. If the Close is exactly $80,000, the above-$80,000 and above-$82,000 contracts produce No, while the four lower thresholds produce Yes.
The exact candle and price source
The rules specify the one-minute candle closing at noon ET on October 21, not the candle starting at that time and not the daily close. The source is Binance BTC/USDT with Candles and the 1m interval selected.
A price from another exchange or another trading pair does not replace Binance BTC/USDT. Comparison precision follows the number of decimal places in the source; the rules do not specify separate rounding to whole dollars.
Observation time is not confirmed resolution
The observation time identifies which price to compare with the threshold. The listed end date alone does not prove that an outcome has been confirmed: trading closure, a proposed result, a disputed result and final resolution are distinct states.
